During our 16-day trip in France and Switzerland, we had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Belvedere in Locarno. The hospitality was truly exceptional, with friendly staff who went above and beyond for our family. The hotel's outstanding location allowed us to explore the beautiful area on electric bikes provided by the hotel. The restaurant offered top-notch dining options, and the trip up the mountain was simply unforgettable. Additionally, the hotel catered to children with special amenities and surprises, making it a truly child-friendly destination.

The view is spectacular on the lake and the mountains. The hotel staff is very helpful. The standard of the restaurant is very high.

Superb location! Staff was very kindly. In the main structure of hotel, the rooms are very large and confortable. Breakfast was absolutly complete and very good indeed. The price is not properly popular, but the standard is very high! I highly recommend for a honeymoon or romantic getaway... I forgot ... the hotel is 10/15 minutes walk from the center of Locarno, but you need good legs! :-)

As longer term business travelers, we loved the amazing facilities at Hotel Belvedere. The tropical setting surrounded by tree and hill slopes created a peaceful ambiance. The garden area was spacious and well-maintained, perfect for relaxation. The swimming pool, sauna, and spa provided an excellent way to unwind after a long day. Our kids had a fantastic time exploring and enjoying all the facilities. The restaurant had a wide variety of dining options and drinks, ensuring everyone's taste was catered to. Moreover, the staff was highly trained and ready to assist us in any situation. The room, bed, and pillows were incredibly comfortable, allowing us to have a restful sleep. Special mention goes to Goran at the restaurant for his excellent treatment. Lastly, the recently renewed garden was absolutely gorgeous.

We felt so welcome during our stay at Hotel Belvedere Locarno. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, which made our experience even more enjoyable.

Almost everything, the pool is great!

A bit surprised that they do allow dogs but you cannot take them into the restaurant. Luckily the weather was great and we ate outside.

Front desk folks were very nice. Room had a beautiful view of the lake and a very nice terrace.

The hotel offers excellent service with many extras suitable for a 5-star hotel. We appreciated the pick-up and drop-off service from the train station. The bed was made before bedtime with a chocolate on the pillow, and the breakfast was fantastic, with fresh-pressed juices and made-to-order omelettes and pancakes. The staff was very attentive, promptly removing plates and constantly seeking feedback. The overall ambience was very appealing. The room was equipped with all the amenities expected in a modern 5-star hotel, including a pre-set air-conditioner, mini bar, tea and coffee machine, complimentary water and cookies, a weight scale. The balcony with lounge reclining chairs and a table offered a pleasant spot to relax. The spa was clean, modern, and provided extra towels, complimentary healthy snacks, and water. This hotel truly embodies Swiss quality and offers a breathtaking view.

Felt very lucky to have found such an exceptional hotel, with no reason to complain.

The views from our balcony were outstanding. The service was equally outstanding - the staff were helpful friendly and very efficient.

The walk back up the hill was arduous at times, but there is a funicular so that is a possibility.

Great location, stunning views, modern furnishings, delicious breakfast, enjoyable spa, friendly staff.

The hotel was conveniently located near a forest and right next to the funicular which provided easy access to the city center. The room was spacious with modern furnishing and comfortable beds. Breakfast offered a variety of options including fresh pastries and cooked-to-order foods. The hotel had a nice garden area and well-appointed wellness facilities.

Liked the roomsize, balcony with view over lake. Good hotel, but no luxury hotel. Private garage to park the car (30 ChF).

Didn't like the room interior, colourscheme feels unpersonal, bathroom small.
